I like to make this special treat for fav. friends and family members. The one on the left is made w/milk chocolate and the one on the right is made w/semi-sweet chocolate.
I made some this week for favorite teachers and some asked for the recipe. (Sorry Z, I had one for you too, but forgot to give it to you. It's in my fridge. Stop by this week.)
So here it is. This makes 2 rectangle cake pans. (We eat one and give one away)
My Fav Peanut Butter Bars
3 pkg graham crackers, crushed
3 cup peanut butter
2 cup melted butter (4 sticks) (I use margarine)
32 oz. powdered sugar (4-5 cups)
2 12 oz bags chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)
Mix graham cracker crumbs peanut better, and butter. Add powdered sugar and mix well. Divide and spread onto two 9x13 pans. Melt chocolate and pour over top. Cool and cut into bars.
I have varied the amt. of different ingredients and sometimes it's come out too dry or too moist. This one came out perfect.

By the way, I have a bag-o-cans for "hugging boy" when you have the chance too...like you said, there are only so many ways a 2nd grader can earn money.
Sounds so bad for you...Count me in! Can you believe it? Now that school is over, I'm actually SLEEPING! No fooling! So excited about this! Have fun in Florida.
