Ingredients:
3 large chicken breasts
2 cans chicken broth
2 cans Cream of Chicken soup
1 cup milk
2 cans of can biscuits
salt and pepper
First stew chicken breasts until tender. Remove the chicken and save the liquid. Cut chicken into bite size pieces or shred.
Next, heat chicken broth and Cream of Chicken soup stirring well until mixed.
Add milk, chicken, and liquid from cooked chicken. Bring to a boil.
While the chicken is cooking, open the canned biscuits and separate. Sprinkle with flour and roll out or flatten with palm until it's the size of your palm. Cross cut each a couple of times so you get smaller flat shaped pieces.
When the mixture comes to a boil, drop the cut up biscuit pieces into the boiling stew.
After all pieces are in, let it boil for 5 min. or until dumplings are done. Stir easily and often, and turn the heat down enough so that it doesn't boil over.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
(Our family begs for biscuits, so I usually only put in 1 can in the stew and I bake the other into reg. biscuits and serve with the stew.)
Ramen Noodle Stir Fry
This is a recipe my oldest brought home from 7th grade TLC class, kind of like Home Ec., and quickly became a family favorite. We've modified it to serve a family of 8:
(not actual picture of receipe, but close)
Ingredients:
2 chicken breasts, cooked and chopped into bite size pieces
1 16oz bag of frozen chopped broccoli and cauliflower
1 to 2 carrots sliced in thin circles
3 3/4 c. water
3 pkg. beef ramen noodles, broken up, w/seasoning pkgs.
1 tbsp. margarine
Turn the burner on med. heat for 30 seconds and melt margarine.
Add vegetables to the pan and stir-fry until just cooked- bright colored and somewhat crunchy still.
Add chicken, broken up noodles, contents of seasoning packages, and water.
Bring to a boil.
Lower the heat to low and simmer with lid on for 5 minutes, stirring twice while cooking.
Serve with a smile, and maybe some chop sticks!
And there you have it! If any of you try one of these recipes, comment and let me know how it turned out!

For you? Any time!
Oooooohhhh, recipes. Yum. The ramen stif fry is surprisingly good. The dumplings are tasty as well.
Sorry for being late to the party.
Um, that's "stir fry." Something like that.
Okay, so it took me forever to tell you, but I made the chicken and dumplings and my family LOVED it! If I could just order another cold, rainy day like we were having so much of not long ago, it would be a perfect day to make it again!
Gerb-
So glad you liked them! Works fine during summer too- we just had them Wed.
